Preserve Flowers From Someone Special
Flowers from a funeral, memorial or celebration of life can hold enormous sentimental value.
At Really Resin, we carefully preserve funeral and memorial flowers in clear resin, transforming them into beautiful handmade keepsakes that you and your family can treasure for years to come.
Based in Liverpool, we accept flowers from across the UK by post, as well as offering local drop-off by arrangement.
A Lasting Memory of Someone You Love
When the time comes to part with funeral flowers, it can be incredibly difficult to simply throw them away.
Preserving some of those flowers allows you to keep a small part of a meaningful tribute and turn it into something that can remain with you.
We can work with flowers from:
Funeral bouquets
Wreaths
Casket and coffin sprays
Sympathy arrangements
Celebration of life flowers
Individual flowers given by family and friends
Flowers with other special sentimental meaning
Every piece is individually arranged and handcrafted using your own flowers, so your finished memorial keepsake is completely unique.
You Don’t Need to Decide What You Want Straight Away
If you’ve recently received funeral or memorial flowers and aren’t sure what you’d like us to create, please don’t worry about choosing immediately.
The most important thing is getting your flowers to us while they’re in the best possible condition.
Once they arrive, we can begin the drying process.
You’ll then have time to look through our keepsakes and decide what feels right for you and your family.
Send your flowers now. Decide on your keepsakes later.
Sharing Flowers Between Family Members
We can often create several keepsakes from one funeral arrangement, depending on the number, size and condition of the flowers available.
You may choose one larger memorial piece alongside several smaller keepsakes, allowing children, grandchildren, siblings or other family members to each have something made using the same flowers.
We can advise you on the best way to use the flowers available once we’ve seen them.
How it works
-
There’s no need to choose or order your keepsakes beforehand. Simply contact us and arrange to post your flowers or drop them at our Liverpool studio. The sooner we receive fresh flowers, the better the preservation results.
-
Your flowers are professionally dried over approximately 3–4 weeks, preserving as much of their natural beauty, shape and colour as possible
-
There’s no pressure to decide immediately. While your flowers are drying, you can take your time browsing our range and deciding which pieces you’d like us to create.
-
Each keepsake is individually designed and poured by hand using premium-quality resin. We carefully arrange every flower to create a truly unique piece you’ll treasure forever.
-
Once the layout has been finalised, we carefully encapsulate your flowers in our high-quality resin. The piece is then left to cure for several days, with regular checks throughout the process to carefully remove any air bubbles and ensure the clearest possible finish.
-
Once fully cured, your piece is carefully removed from the mould and thoroughly quality checked. We then sand it to create a smooth, even finish before applying a final coat of clear resin for a beautiful glossy shine and added protection.
Once finished, your keepsake is carefully packaged and either shipped directly to you or made ready for collection.

The complete process can take up to 4 months, although during particularly busy periods larger or more complex orders may take 4–6 months.

Flowers are natural, so some colour changes are completely normal during the drying process.
White flowers may develop soft ivory or cream tones, while reds, pinks and purples usually retain their colour very well. We use professional drying techniques to preserve as much of each flower’s natural beauty as possible and carefully arrange every piece to showcase your flowers at their very best.
-
Yes. We can preserve individual flowers carefully selected from funeral wreaths, casket sprays and other floral tributes. You don’t need to send the entire arrangement – simply choose some of the flowers that are most meaningful to you. If you’re unsure which flowers to send, you’re welcome to send us a photograph and we can advise you.
-
Absolutely. If there are enough suitable flowers available, we can create several keepsakes from the same funeral or memorial arrangement. Many families choose one larger piece alongside smaller keepsakes such as hearts, coasters, keyrings or bookmarks, allowing different family members to each have something made from the same flowers.
-
Not at all. Simply send us your flowers, and we’ll begin the drying process. While your flowers are being carefully preserved, you can take your time browsing our range and deciding which keepsakes you’d like us to create.
This takes the pressure off during what is often a very busy or emotional time and is one of the things our customers appreciate most.
