How to Pack and Send Your Flowers
A simple step-by-step guide to help your wedding or funeral flowers arrive safely and in the best possible condition.

Sending your flowers is simple. Just follow the steps below to give your wedding or funeral flowers the
best possible chance of arriving safely.
Once your flowers arrive, we’ll confirm they’ve been received, begin the drying process, and keep you updated throughout their journey with us.
Don’t worry about choosing your keepsakes just yet
There is absolutely no rush to decide what you’d like us to create.
Weddings are wonderfully busy, and funerals are never something we can prepare for. We understand that deciding on your keepsakes may not be your priority straight away.
The most important thing is getting your flowers to us as soon as possible while they’re still in the best condition for preservation.
If you’ve just got married, go and enjoy your honeymoon without another thing to think about. If you’re preserving flowers in memory of a loved one, take all the time you need.
Once your flowers have been carefully dried and safely preserved, you can choose your keepsakes in your own time. Whether it’s a frame, resin block, jewellery, coasters or something completely bespoke, we’ll be here to help you create the perfect lasting tribute.

Step 1 - Choose the right box
Select a sturdy cardboard box that is large enough to fit your bouquet comfortably. If the box isn’t quite tall enough, you can trim 1–2 inches from the bottom of the stems without affecting the flowers.
Clearly label the outside of the box “FRAGILE – FRESH FLOWERS” to help ensure it is handled with care during transit.
Place a cardboard florist’s vase in the centre of the box to keep your bouquet upright and secure. If you don’t have a florist’s vase, don’t worry—anything you can safely adapt to support the base of the bouquet and prevent it from moving during transit will work just as well.

Step 2 - Secure the Box
Scrunch up sheets of newspaper and place them around the edges of the box to keep the bouquet securely in place. The flowers should be supported firmly enough that they can’t move around during transit.
Please do not use bubble wrap, as it can trap moisture and cause your flowers to sweat, which may affect their condition before they reach us.

Step 3 - Hydrate the stems
If you’re happy to do so, trim 1–2 cm from the bottom of the stems before packing your bouquet. Over time, the ends of the stems naturally seal over, so a fresh cut helps them absorb water more effectively.
Dampen a sheet of kitchen paper and wrap it around the bottom of the stems, where they have been cut. This is the part of the stem that absorbs water, so avoid wrapping the sides alone, as it won’t keep your flowers hydrated as effectively during transit.

Step 4 - Secure your flowers
Wrap the bottom of the stems in damp kitchen paper to help keep your flowers hydrated during transit.
Place a sandwich bag over the damp kitchen paper and the bottom of the stems, then secure it with an elastic band. This helps prevent any water from leaking into the rest of the box and protects both your flowers and the packaging during delivery.

Step 5 - Place Your Flowers In The Box
Carefully place your bouquet into the cardboard vase, ensuring it fits snugly and remains as upright as possible during transit.
If the bouquet feels loose or wobbly, add a little crumpled newspaper or packing paper around the vase to keep it secure. Preventing movement inside the box helps protect your flowers and ensures they arrive in the best possible condition.

Step 6 - Add Protective Packaging
Loosely pack crumpled newspaper or packing paper around the sides and top of your bouquet to help prevent it from moving during transit.
Avoid packing the paper too tightly, as this could crush or damage the flowers. The aim is to cushion and support the bouquet so it arrives in the best possible condition.

Step 7 - Include Your Details
Please include a note inside the box with your name, return address, and order number.
We receive lots of flower deliveries every week, so including these details allows us to identify your flowers immediately and match them to the correct order as soon as they arrive.

Step 8 - Label up your flowers
Seal your parcel securely with strong tape to help protect your flowers during transit.
Write both your return address and our delivery address clearly on the outside of the parcel.
Please send your flowers using a tracked next-day delivery service and keep your tracking receipt until your parcel has arrived safely.
Before posting, ask your courier or Post Office to confirm that your parcel is suitable for next-day delivery and that the contents are accepted for transport.
Don’t forget to include a note inside your parcel with your name, return address and order number. We receive lots of flowers, so this helps us identify your order as soon as it arrives.

Step 9 - Posting Your Flowers
Postal Address
Please contact us before sending your flowers to receive our postal address.
We do this simply to ensure we’re expecting your delivery and can unpack and begin caring for your flowers as soon as they arrive. This helps us avoid unexpected deliveries sitting unattended and ensures your flowers receive the best possible care from the moment they arrive.
Posting Recommendations
For the best results, please send your flowers Monday to Thursday using a tracked next-day delivery service.
Where possible, please avoid posting on Fridays, weekends or Bank Holidays, as delivery delays can affect the condition of fresh flowers.

What happens once my flowers arrive?
Your flowers arrive.
We photograph them and confirm safe arrival.
We begin drying them (around 3–4 weeks).
Once dried, we’ll contact you to confirm your design if needed.
We create your keepsake and sand let you know when its ready for collection.
How long does the process take?
Flower preservation is a slow and careful process, and we never want to rush something so meaningful. From receiving your flowers through to completing your finished keepsake, the whole process can take a few months, particularly during our busiest wedding season.
Some pieces may be completed sooner, while larger or more intricate designs can take a little longer. We’ll always take the time needed to make sure your flowers are properly dried and your keepsake is created with the care it deserves.

Once flowers are in transit, their condition is outside our control. We cannot accept responsibility for delays, damage, moisture or deterioration caused during delivery. Following the packing instructions below gives your flowers the best chance of arriving safely.
Please ensure you follow the above steps in sending your flowers to ensure they arrive in the best way possible. Although every effort is made to try our best we can only do so much with damaged flowers, if they are damp, mushy, brown and mouldy then they will still look like this in resin! We advise to take a photo of the flowers ready to ship and we will send a picture to you when they arrive.
