How to Pack and Send Your Flowers for Preservation

Sending your flowers is simple. Follow the steps below to give your wedding or funeral flowers the best possible chance of arriving safely. Once they arrive, we’ll confirm receipt, begin drying them and keep you updated throughout the preservation process.

There is absolutely no rush to decide what you’d like us to create. Weddings are busy enough, and funerals are never something we can plan for.

The most important thing is simply getting your flowers to us as soon as possible. Once they’ve arrived safely, we’ll begin the drying and preservation process.

If you’ve just got married, go and enjoy your honeymoon without another thing to think about. If you’re preserving flowers in memory of a loved one, take all the time you need.

You don’t need to choose your keepsakes straight away. Once your flowers have been carefully dried, you can decide, in your own time, which pieces you’d like us to create.

    How do you send flowers through the post?

    Find a box the right size to fit your bouquet, if its not tall enough you can cut off an inch or 2 from the bottom of the stems - ensure you mark the box as FRAGILE FRESH FLOWERS  Place a cardboard florists vase in the centre of your box.  If you don't have a florists box then anything you can fashion to hold the base if perfectly fine!

    Scrunch up newspaper pages and stuff them around the edges of the box to hold it securely in place. Do not use any bubble wrap or it might make your flowers sweat.

    Fresh & Delicious

     Trim the stems a little if you are feeling brave. The bottoms will have sealed themselves up since your florist made the bouquet so you will be helping them to drink better. Wet some kitchen paper and fold it up around the BOTTOM of the stems. Don't just wrap it around the sides. They drink from the bottom.

    Secure the flowers

    Put a sandwich bag around the kitchen paper and the bottom of the stems. This will stop the water from leaking all over the rest of your box.     In The Box

    Put the bouquet carefully into the cardboard vase. It should fit quite snugly and not move around too much. Put some more newspaper in the vase if your bouquet is too wobbly.

    Pack some more newspaper loosely around the sides and top of the bouquet.

    Please include a note inside the box with your name, return address and order number.

    We receive lots of flower deliveries every week, so this helps us identify your flowers immediately and match them to the correct order as soon as they arrive.

    Label it up

    Seal the box closed with sellotape. Write your address on the box if you purchased a P&P Pack.

    Use a tracked next-day delivery service and retain your tracking receipt. Ask the carrier to confirm that the parcel size and contents are accepted before posting.

    For the best results, please post your flowers Monday to Thursday using a tracked next-day delivery service.

    We recommend avoiding Fridays, weekends and Bank Holidays where possible, as delays can affect the condition of fresh flowers.

  4. 🎨 Once dried, we’ll contact you to confirm your design if needed.

  5. ✨ We create your keepsake and send regular updates until it’s ready to ship.

Once flowers are in transit, their condition is outside our control. We cannot accept responsibility for delays, damage, moisture or deterioration caused during delivery. Following the packing instructions below gives your flowers the best chance of arriving safely.

Please ensure you follow the above steps in sending your flowers to ensure they arrive in the best way possible. Although every effort is made to try our best we can only do so much with damaged flowers, if they are damp, mushy, brown and mouldy then they will still look like this in resin!  We advise to take a photo of the flowers ready to ship and we will send a picture to you when they arrive.
